 Why is this hub wheel drive such an interesting one? 

This drive combines the positiv characteristics of other battery-operated systems and more. 

"More" means:
 
 
DIRECT ? DRIVE  Developed and designed after the newest state of the art, this drive turn with a minimum number of parts. Protection class is IP 65.  

No motor is visible - because it is integrated in the wheel. 

You can hear no noise - thr drive is gearless. 

If you go downhill, the motor functions as a generator and transfers power back to the battery. Brushless - therefor maintenance free. 

Result: Hight efficiency.
SLOW SPEED MOTOR There is no gear with all its disadvantages: loss of efficiency, noice, place to connect, loss of oil or grease, seal and maintenance.  

This slow speed will be obtained with a special stator-sheet and a special winding, as well as an  ajust magnet arrangement. 
MAGNET  MOTOR  Special arrangement and high quality magnets give the motor a torque as well as a gearmotor. 
EXTERNAL MOTOR DRIVE The currentless, external rotor allows a construction with modificated motor case. It is case and rim together and the rim can be adjust.
BRUSHLESS DRIVE No brushes ? no commutators: that means a higher efficiency, noiseless and maintenance free.
INTEGRATED ELEKTRONIC The microprocessor controller in SMD (therefore extreme small dimensions) will be supplied for external fixation by request. 

Into the motor integrated means: short electical ways, no unnecessary cable connections ? therefore more security, no supplementary case ? consequently a simpler handling. 

An interface gives the connection to the control device. Measurements of distance, speed and battery condition can be connected directly. Soft-start and soft-brake happen automatically. Forward/reverse run is standard. 

Without mechanical manipulation the caddy can be pushed or pulled  with its electronical freewheel. 

Protection against false connection of  the battery cables and protection against overload are standard. To protect the battery against subtension, the electronic is automatically cut off.
SINGLE DRIVE ? 24V This kind of drive is the cheaper solution, but also the technically simplest. 

A wheel hub motor with 180 Watt, connected with a transaxle, drives the second wheel (without motor) and represents the driving unit. To assemble and disassemble the caddy easily, you have a quick release fixation of the wheels.  

In case of subtension or power cut, the wheels are automatically free to turn.
DUAL DRIVE ? 24V  Two seperately driven wheels are the better technical solution. A folding mechanism of the trolley is easy to realize.
 

Golf trolleys with hub wheel motors are supplied in two variations: 

Guided by hand Guided by hand the dual drive trolley is easier to move than the single drive. The motor power can be stepped up to 2 x 180 Watt.
